You should keep in mind what genres are popular. Depending on what genre your film is will change the money it makes in the box office. For example a movie from a more popular genre may gross more then one from a not so popular genre.

You can help shape the industry. If your film is in the 90's out of 100 it is possible your film may open up the genre and therefore change the industry.
